Umpire Registration
 

Thank you for volunteering to be an umpire for Rancho Mission Viejo Little League. Your support is critical to our success and supports a structured game environment for our players.
 

Important information for umpire volunteers:

1. When selecting games to umpire, please try to choose games commiserate with your umpire experience level. Single A and Double A level games should be available for those less experienced parents to umpire.

2. Please read the local rules and pay special attention to the specific rules for the division that you are umpiring.

3. Our goal is to ensure that every scheduled game has the benefit of at least two (2) knowledgeable umpires. Therefore, each team in the Single A through Majors division is required to fill a minimum of 15 umpire slots during the season. Teams in the Juniors division are required to fill a minimum of 10 umpire slots. Teams in the T-Ball and Coach Pitch divisions are required to fill a minimum of 6 umpire slots during the season. A “slot” is either a base or plate assignment.

4. If you are a new umpire and plan on volunteering on a regular basis, send an e-mail to asstumpire@rmvll.org to request a shirt and hat.

5. All umpires are required to submit a 2010 volunteer form (a copy of which can be found under the Forms section of this website). Completed forms may be submitted to your child's coach or emailed to asstumpire@rmvll.org

6. To allow your son’s team to receive proper credit, please complete the form below. This will give you access to our online umpire scheduler. You will be sent an email notification once your request is processed, (typically within 24 hours) containing your login information. Please use an email that you check often and ensure your email address is entered correctly in order to receive your login information.
