About Little League Baseball

Little League Baseball is the world’s largest organized youth sports program. In the span of just seven decades, Little League has grown from three teams to nearly 180,000 teams, in all 50 U.S. states and scores of countries. It is estimated that 35 million people have played in or volunteered for a local Little League program. The basic goal remains the same as it was in 1939: to give the children of the world a game that provides fundamental principles (sportsmanship, fair play and teamwork) they can use later in life to become good citizens. We use baseball as a tool to teach these principles while providing top-notch skills programs and competition to become good, competitive players; all this while emphasizing the safety and longevity of these athletes.

Visit Little League Online for news and information regarding Little League Baseball.

About Rancho Mission Viejo Little League

Rancho Mission Viejo Little League (RMVLL) is a non-profit organization created in 1993. Our Little League program is charted by the National Little League organization based in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. RMVLL is one of four Little Leagues serving the city of Mission Viejo and one of ten Little Leagues in South Orange County overseen by California District 68.. We provide the opportunity for youth ages 4-18 to develop their baseball skills, work together as part of a team, create lifelong friendships, and compete at the highest level. Each year several hundred kids participate in our league. The league is run entirely by adult volunteers - there is a role for everyone whether it be as a manager, coach, umpire, scorekeeper, team mom, or numerous other functions. Come on out to Curtis Park located at 24460 Olympiad Road in Mission Viejo and check out some exciting and high quality baseball games. Click HERE for a map of our league boundaries. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact any of our Board Members.
